Backup Generator Systems

Hi, I'm Spencer Morley, owner of Indian Creek Electric. After 7 years of installing solar and battery/generator backup systems in the Treasure Valley, I realized there is a massive problem for most local solar owners.
You invested thousands of dollars into your solar system. The salesperson made their commission, and the installers left. You were left without any resources to maintain your brand-new solar system or fix any part of it if it breaks. After years of seeing this problem first-hand, I decided to leave the installation industry and do something to help those who were left with a complex system, with no way to address potential problems.
Now, my mission is to help Treasure Valley solar system owners with their solar and battery backup or generator systems and give you the peace of mind you need, knowing your system is working efficiently and properly.

Don't get caught with a system that doesn't work when it's too late. Getting a checkup on your system's health is the best way to ensure you have power when (not if) your grid power is lost, for any amount of time.

You spent Thousands on your Solar System. Has it been Professionally Inspected since Installation?
Here's three reasons you need your solar, battery or generator system inspected.

1. Systems Wear Out Over Time
Over time, solar system components wear out, connections are lost, and sometimes, your entire system can stop working without you realizing it.
The good news? An affordable, detailed inspection by an experienced solar professional will expose any issues (which I can fix), or give your system a "clean bill of health".

2. Your Production Could be Improved
Excessively dirty panels, debris, disconnected panels, and other issues can cause your productivity to go down.

When you paid for a solar system to negate or help cover your power bill, the last thing you want is for your system to perform sub-optimally. An inspection can give you peace of mind, knowing your system is performing as it should, or if productivity issues can be addressed.

3. Broken Backup System = No Power when the Grid is Down
If you have a backup battery or generator system, are you 100% sure it works when the grid goes down? Will the right things be powered when grid power is gone and your battery or generator kicks on?

You got the backup system for peace of mind. A professional inspection insures your backups are ready to go, in case of a power outage or emergency.

What's Included in the 20-Point Solar System Inspection?
When you book your 20-Point Solar System Inspection, I will personally be the one to show up at your door. You won't get an inexperienced technician who will perform a sub-par inspection. Understanding the ins and outs of solar and backup systems takes years of on-the-job experience, which is why I personally inspect each one of my customer's systems.

The 20-Point Inspection is a professional inspection of every aspect of your solar and backup system, and includes:

-
Inspection of all on and off roof components and connections
-
Remote login to your system to check productivity and grid interactions
-
Photos and explanations of any issues, with my recommendation to fix them
-
Professional report emailed to you within 24 hours of inspection completion
Solar Inspection FAQs
Will I be encouraged to fix things that don't really need fixing?
No, I will never encourage you to fix things on your system that don't really need to be fixed. My recommendations, if any, will be transparent without any obligation to move forward with additional repairs.
What is your cancellation policy, in case I need to cancel?
You can cancel within 12 hours of your scheduled inspection start time with no penalty. If you need to reschedule at any time, you can do so by creating, or logging into your account on this website and going to the "My Bookings" tab.
Will the report be useful, something a non-electrician can understand?
Absolutely. The professional report I'll email to you after your inspection is meant to help solar owners understand the components of their system and any potential issues in language that is clear and understandable.
What are the payment options for the 20-Point Solar Inspection?
You can book and pre-pay online for a lower price via all major credit/debit cards or PayPal. You can also email me directly to arrange for in-person payment via check or card, however the price will be $187 instead of $167.
Does the 20-Point Solar Inspection cover roof & ground mounts?
Yes, the cost of the 20-Point Solar System Inspection will cover either a rooftop solar system, or a ground mount system, but not both. The points of the inspection are different for each type of mount, however you will receive a professional report for either type.
Do you take down or install full solar systems as well as inspect?
Yes, I can take down your entire solar system. I work with another local contractor to have new roof and ground systems installed. If you need additional solar projects done, feel free to reach out and I will answer your questions!
